NOVEMBER 2026 FOCUS
LIVING A LIFE OF GRATITUDE—Brenda JP Crawford
This month's focus, Living a Life of Gratitude, means choosing to trust God’s heart even when your current circumstances feel heavy or unclear. God is actively weaving every heavy moment, unexpected turn, and quiet struggle into something purposeful for your life.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."—Romans 8:28
ROMAN 8:28 MEANS FOR YOU
Not every moment feels good: This verse does not promise that every situation you face will be pleasant or painless. Loss, waiting, and hard days are real.
God is working behind the scenes: Even when you cannot see the outcome, God takes the broken or confusing pieces of your story and orchestrates them with care.
A deeper purpose: His ultimate goal is to hold you close, strengthen your faith, and shape you through the journey.
Take a deep breath and rest in the truth that you are not walking through this month alone.
PRACTICE GRATITUDE THROUGH ROMANS 8:28
Thank Him for His character, not just your comfort: When life changes, God’s goodness, faithfulness, and presence remain the same.
Shift from "Why is this happening?" to "What is God doing?": Trust that He is actively shaping and maturing your character to reflect His Son.
Let thankfulness turn into generosity: An overflowing heart naturally spills over into encouraging words, kindness, and support for the people around you.
ENCOURAGING WORDS TO CARRY TODAY
“Even when I cannot trace Your hand, Lord, I can trust Your heart.”
“This hard chapter is not the end of the story; God is still working behind the scenes for my ultimate good and His glory.”
“Today, I will choose praise over panic, knowing I am held by a purpose bigger than my present pain.”
🙏🏼PRAYER🙏🏼
Father God, I thank You for who You are and for the simple, quiet gifts that fill our day—the breath in our lungs, the people we love, and Your steady grace. When life feels heavy or uncertain, help us to stop, remember Your faithfulness, and trust Your heart. Turn our concerns into praise and let gratitude become the natural rhythm of our life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
