AUGUST 2026 FOCUS: OUR SCHOLARS

This August, my third grandson commences his college education, a milestone I am honored to be a part of. Consequently, our focus for this month will be on these young scholars as they embark on a new chapter in their lives.

Week 1: Students & Children

• Pray for courage to face new grades, new classrooms, and first-time jitters.

• Ask for a sharp mind, a love for learning, and the ability to make good, kind friends.

Week 2: Teachers & School Staff

• Lift up principals, teachers, bus drivers, and cafeteria workers.

• Pray for daily strength, endless patience, and joy in their important work.

Week 3: Parents & Caregivers

• Ask for calm hearts and peace to replace any back-to-school stress or worry.

• Pray for organization, grace, and balance with busy morning routines and schedules.

Week 4: Campus Safety & Community

• Declare a safe, secure, and welcoming environment on every school ground.

• Pray that schools become places of growth, respect, and encouragement for all.

Proverbs 22:6 states: "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (KJV).

Father God, as this new school year begins, we place every student, teacher, and family into Your hands. Protect our children in every hallway and classroom, grant our educators wisdom and patience, and fill our homes with Your peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
