APRIL 2026 FOCUS

  • Mar 31
  • 2 min read

As we move into April 2026, we are surrounded by the beauty of spring and the hope of the resurrection. God invites us in Isaiah 43:19 to notice the 'new thing' He is doing—breaking through the dry areas of our lives with streams of living water. Let us not dwell on the failures or restrictions of the past. Instead, let us adopt the posture of Romans 6:4, stepping into newness of life, walking in the freedom Christ has provided, and praising Him for His daily mercies.

  • Embrace Growth: "April showers bring May flowers, but they also bring renewal and growth".

  • Take Action: "Don't wait for extraordinary opportunities. Seize common occasions and make them great".

  • New Beginnings: "April is the month of dreams come true".

  • Persevere: "Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible".

Make this April a time to turn over a new leaf and paint your life with vibrant colors of hope.

🙏🏼PRAYER🙏🏼

Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus, holding onto Your promise in Isaiah 43:19 that You are doing a new thing. Lord, I ask that You help me to forget the former things and not dwell on the past. Open my eyes to perceive the new path You are creating, making a way in my wilderness and rivers in my desert.

Father God, I thank You that, as Romans 6:4 says, I was buried with Christ through baptism into death, so that just as He was raised from the dead by Your glory, I too may walk in newness of life. I declare that my old self is gone; I am dead to sin and alive to You. Holy Spirit, breathe new strength and joy into my heart. Give me the grace to walk away from old habits, old ways of thinking, and old limitations. As I rise today, I walk in the authority of a resurrected life—full of purpose, hope, and victory.

Make me a witness to Your goodness, bringing breakthroughs where there has been lack and joy where there has been sorrow. I trust You to do more than I can ask or imagine. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
